Quantitative Developer

M1 Capital is the largest digital asset hedge fund in the Netherlands with over $190mln in AUM across its entities, and one of the top performing funds in the space. We specialize in systematic and discretionary market-neutral strategies across DeFi and CeFi markets, delivering consistent all-weather returns.

We’re looking for a Quantitative Developer to help design, build, and optimize trading algorithms and infrastructure that power our multi-strategy market-neutral fund. You’ll work across research, execution, and on-chain systems, directly contributing to alpha generation and fund scalability.

As a Quantitative Developer, you will:

• Develop and optimize trading algorithms and systematic strategies for our multi-strategy delta-neutral fund.

• Integrate DeFi and CEX systems: design execution pipelines, multisig transaction flows, and monitoring tools.

• Conduct quantitative research, managing all aspects of strategy design, backtesting, implementation, and risk management.

• Build and maintain SQL databases for efficient data storage and real-time algorithm logging.

• Perform protocol risk assessments, vet trading venues, and ensure secure interaction with DeFi protocols.

• Engage with investors, assisting in fundraising and providing strategy-level explanations when needed.

What we’re looking for (no strict necessities):

• Strong Python skills with the ability to build and automate systems (Solidity or Rust a plus).

• Understanding of EVM and/or Solana architecture, DeFi/CeFi, multisig wallets, and transaction workflows.

• Familiarity with trading infrastructure: execution engines, monitoring, alerting, backtesting, and logging.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Based in Amsterdam or open to relocation.
